| A concerted effort to recruit new members to the OIPA’s Wildcatters Club is paying off.
From January to November, 20 OIPA members joined the Wildcatters Club, the primary fundraiser for the OIPA’s state political action committee. In December, the Wildcatters Club added 15 new members following an impassioned plea from Wildcatters Club President Jeff McDougall, who urged all OIPA members to participate.
“The main goal of the OIPA is political action,” McDougall said. “And a strong Wildcatters Club gives us the support we need to reach our political goals.”
To encourage more new members, the OIPA has added a new membership level to the Wildcatters Club. The Prospector Level requires a $250 donation to the Wildcatters Club, which funds our state PAC (OKIEpac), and a suggested $125 donation to the OIPA’s Federal PAC.
The new Prospector Level is in addition to the other levels of Wildcatters Club membership —Inner Circle, Council, Black Gold and Wildcatter.
