Another day, another anti-frac documentary

March 30, 2010
Hydraulic fracturing and natural gas in general have become hot topics for documentary makers. Some show the benefits of energy exploration. Most don't.

The newest offering is Justin Fox's documentary Gasland, which explores the use of hydraulic fracturing in the Marcellus shale in eastern Pennsylvania, where Fox lives.

The documentary, a winner at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, is being screened across the country. An interview with Fox on PBS's newsmagazine Now gives a good indication of the film's message.
